The Top 100 Songs of 2011 -- #48: "Michael Jackson" -- Das Racist

You gotta love Das Racist. Toeing that thin line between joke rap and actually having something to say with almost every release, the alt-hip-hop group from New York had their biggest year yet with the release of Relax, full-length release number one.

"Michael Jackson" came from that release, and it immediately overtook "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell" for the Das Racist song most readily screamed at parties. It also features some of the funniest lines in rap all year. Let's look at a few:

"Michael Jackson / A million dollars / You feel me? / Holla!"

Okay... actually, I still don't know what's going on in this. To this day. But it'll be stuck in your head for days, and there's nothing you can do about it.

"Hakuna Matata Pumbaa / Porque esta es la rumba / Yeah, I'm fucking great at rapping!"

Also shouted endlessly at parties. For a brief moment, no matter what, you ARE fucking great at rapping, and it's the best feeling. Also, The Lion King.

"Call me Janet Jackson / I got a hundred dollars"

GET IT? BECAUSE MICHAEL HAD A LOT MORE MONEY THAN JANET. HAHAHA.

And there's dozens more fantastic lines that you'll be screaming until the end of time. It'll be great and all, and then you'll see the music video, and love this song even more. I guarantee it.

Nothing like elderly people rapping with the most serious looks EVER on their faces.

Das Racist, keep 'em coming. Please.
